The Why?
Artists are called NOT to conform to industry standards but to understand what they are & why, and go an entirely new direction, displaying innovation, fresh perspective and inspiration.
Its a delicate line, for an artist's soul (thats impossible to remove from their body of work) to accept wholeheartedly that their worth is not determined by this standard, but completely independent of it and other's responses to it.
It is a delcate & peculiar thing ....to be an artist. Where success tries to disguise itself in compromise by blinding our creative eyes. True creativity comes through faith and takes courage to be who we were truly called to be.
Who we are is not of the world but beyond it. Standard should not be our goals but our spring board. Our calling is to manifest God's true nature as CREATOR through our hearts, souls and hands, to then display to the world the goodness of whats beyond through the channel of our medium of art.
